*All of the books have either LGBTQ+ Characters or are full-blown LGBTQ+, and are rated by absolute awesomeness!*

#1- THE “ACES HIGH JOKERS WILD SERIES” !!!! By O. E. Tearmann

Poised to be The Best series of books EVER reviewed on Scribble’s Worth Book Reviews, The Best series of the year 2022 , and win several prizes this year , this full-blown LGBTQ+ cyberpunk series is everything that we readers can ask for, and MORE (oh, it’s so much more)! They even have Janice! HA! There isn’t a single reader that will hate this set of masterpieces, and we are not exaggerating on our claims, read the reviews here.

#2- “The Last of The Gifted” series by Marie Powell

Although not a full-blown LGBTQ+ series, we do have explicit, implicit and GORGEOUS, gay couples in “The Last of the Gifted” Series. The drama is real. Nope, no spoilers for you, but we guaran-damn-tee that these masterpieces written by the incredible Marie Powell are worth every second, and all the tears. Read the reviews here. 😀

#3- The “Nel Bently” Series by V. S. Holmes

This is a great series, and although book one is more like the “foundation” of the whole series, book TWO is the punch in the LGBTQ+ and emotion (and chaos with all the thriller, the drama and the peril and paranoia and misunderstandings) buttons. LOL. No spoilers, nope, you will have to read that glory of a series to fully enjoy it. Just wear an emotional helmet.

4- “The Raincatcher’s Ballad” Series by Steven McKinnon

Talking about chaos… WE HAD TO mention this wholesome, and awesome series (Book 1, 2, 3 ), that is in the 2nd position of the BEST series reviewed by us and that was unbeaten for more than 3 YEARS! Yes, this series IS Amazing, and although it isn’t full blown LGBTQ+, it has STRONG elements of the Transgender, Lesbian , Gay, and Queer parts of the community, with many main characters being in the closet. Oh, the drama zzzjIS REAL! *le gasp* Expect explosions and deaths of your favorite characters in every other paragraph and you will NOT be disappointed, LOOOOOL.

5- A Proper Contentment by Ned Hopkins

This a book that we would have sinned if we left out. An incredible, crude and quite dramatic novel-memoir that explains the struggles of a boy for being gay and his mother that did all she could for them both in the adverse circumstances they lived. A moving and enlightening piece of literature that was more than set to receive this glorious review. A must-read indeed.

6-In The Key of Nira Ghani by Natasha Deen

Although, it didn’t win awards last year, “In The Key of Nira GhaniIS one THE BEST RomCom’s we have on our site and one of our favorites! THIS BOOK WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH!! Whether you like it, or not. Just like tea. It isn’t a LGBTQ+ book per se, BUT there’s a big surprise there in this area waiting or you. Do not miss this book, whatever you do, or Grandma will get you, hahahahahahhahahahah!

7- My Fatal Futility ShellShock by Neil Hemfrey

What else can we say about this book? What kind of praise are we yet to give to this author? What else can one ask for when it comes to a cyberpunk with BRUTAL unhindered violence, (be it physical, mental or emotional) ? WHAT?!! Personally, I do not know. But I know this: This is a book that will ALWAYS be on the tip of my tongue when it comes to recommendations. And yes, there are LGBTQ couples there, not many, but yeah. So do read it, if you dare.

  1. My fellow 8th-grade-literature teacher and I chose In the Key of Nira Ghani for our students, the majority of whom were of Indian (South Asian) ancestry. What a great book! Not only is it well written with great characterization, but it gives our students a real sense of belonging and excitement to have “one of their own” as the protagonist in one of our core novels. Because of this, we had terrifically engaged discussions as well. And of course, the added benefit is that it has several strong characters who happen to be lesbian, and they are portrayed beautifully. So glad to see that this book has never been banned in the USA. It deserves a place in more schools’ curriculums!
