The 2nd best Month on the Blog’s History!
It might not seem like much, but we have had the second best month of the blog with 583 views.
We achieved this without non-review posts and little to no promotion of the reviews made. This means that the organic traffic and the trust of our readers has increased. We are very proud of this, and we want to thank you for contributing to these achievements.

We also gained a steady number of followers, with around 6+ from last month, we are currently with 75 followers, which is very good. Once again, this might not seem much, BUT mind that, this is a book review blog, and reviews are not the hottest niche of all, might we say.
Having that in mind, we will do our best to reach the 100th follower by the end of the year. It seems doable, hahahaha.
There are factors that explain the increased flow of traffic towards our site:
- Many writers have shared the reviews they got from Scribble’s Worth on their blogs, sites Facebook pages and Twitter
- We have been leaving the links of the original reviews on Goodreads’ review posts and this might be contributing to the numbers

New Review Packages for Indie Writers
We know that paid book reviews are frowned upon, so much so that many indie writers have outright attacked us, refusing to pay for the service we provided to them, or were to provide.
We are forever grateful for our amazing clients, and friends, that have trusted us with the review and promotion of their books, and so far we have done our best, on a daily basis, to promote as many books as possible
Yet, these same people, which we had a few this month, make us think and see new angles from their perspective. So, we are coming up with new packages for Indie Writers that allow us to do more, with less, and, are more affordable, not cheaper, for our clients. How so?
We know that one review doesn’t make much, and doesn’t have much of a reach by itself, even if published on 3 platforms – Scribble’s Worth, Goodreads and Julio Carlos Talks a LOT Podcast. Thus, we are increasing the range of the reviews, of every review, to 1k+ with the Book Catalogue on the beginning of April!
We have been testing the concept of Scribble’s Worth Book Catalogue for nine months now, and we conclude that it’s a good promotional tool for writers. Readers have downloaded 1k+ copies of the material since month one.
Although we do mediate and push the downloads, in the last three months, it has been easier to distribute it. This month we had spikes of 150-185+ downloads in a single day, averaging between 4-7 downloads per share.
These are great news, and readers have been complimenting the material.
What’s the book catalogue?
The book catalogue is a free to download booklet with the best highlights of the books reviewed the previous month.
What will happen then?
The SW’s Book Catalogue will be included on the Standard Package of our services, replacing the Podcast Review. Why? Because although the podcast is good, it has less range than the book catalogue. Thus, Indie Writers will have a guaranteed 1K possible readers on their book reviews monthly without having to pay extra!
Other packages will change as well to benefit the our clients.
Changes will be made during the next two months
Thank you.
Ashleigh’s FIRST Review!

As many of you know, Scribble’s Worth Book Reviews is making partnerships with Freelancers, Book Reviewers, Writers and Editors. One of our first, and best, partners is Ashleigh Bonner, that since day one has proven herself CRUCIAL for the current success of Scribble’s Worth Book Reviews.
Not only an EXCELLENT Editor, she has proven herself to be THE Best Reviewer on the blog, and The most selective as well, hahahahahha. Ashleigh Bonner is The BEST Critic, and Editor we have had the pleasure to work with. Clients have, many times, expressed their pleasure in receiving detailed, pin-point critiques from Ashleigh, critiques that have helped them evolve as writers and improve their books.

So, we are celebrating her first review with us!
She did the review of “A Proper Contentment” by Ned Hopkins, and we are so proud that she made Ned a very satisfied client! You can read the review here.
As an editor, she has a keen insight on how a book should go, and what needs to be done to make it better. Her editing prowess and experience, and her advices can be found on our E-mag interview with her. Editing services are available here, with a special 10% discount for anyone that uses the Code: SCWB10
Mentions on Reviews
Given that we are working with independent Freelancers, and we can’t yet pay them enough for their incredible work. We have made symbiotic arrangements that allow partners to have a share of the exposure on the work they make. This will mean that, until we have enough to pay for each review – or other services – made by partners, we will put mentions of who made the reviews on the posts, and affiliate links for the partners only. Reviews made by Full-time members of the blog will not have mentions or affiliate links.
Delays
As many of you know, I was going through a rough patch and a burnout, so I had to take a 2 weeks sabbatical.
This, and a terminated partnership created difficult situations for the service that are still reflecting today.
More recently by the end of Feb, there was a two-day blackout where I live, so the E-mag was post-poned, along with other services.
I do apologize for all the inconveniences this is causing, please let me know by Emailing Scribblesworthreviews@gmail.com if you have any complaints, and it will promptly dealt with.
Keeping it Unbiased.
To keep the review rankings as unbiased as possible, we will make a “standard” of ratings, by mathematical calculations, according to the reading experience.
This, will ensure that books will have fair and accurate review rating no matter who reviews it.
This way, the ranking will be based upon the quality of the work instead of the perceived quality, or current mood, of the reviewer.

We have a NEW OFFICIAL BANNER!

Recently, we were invited into a partnership with the magazine Books’n’Pieces, owned by none other than the Amazing, and one of our favorite writers, William Gensburger! William is the author of “Texas Dead” and “Angle of Death“, both reviewed and highly regarded books on our blog.
William, as the amazing person he is, offered to make THIS banner for us, and we gladly accepted it and made it the official banner of the brand. This marks the beginning of a great partnership between Magazines.

How will writers benefit from it?
Well, the main trait of our agreement is that William’s Magazine, Books’n’Pieces, will “use” the reviews already made on our site. This way, writers will have their books exposure increased geometrically without having to pay for it!
These are VERY Exciting News!
Our Review Team is Growing!
Yesterday, after months of negotiation, we came to a final agreement with an amazing reviewer, that is still to be revealed. All we can say is that she will add not only impressive reviews, but she will help us expand the reach of each review that she makes. After calculations, and averages, each review made by her will have a potential readership of 5k+ readers in all, on the month of publication. These are wonderful numbers when it comes to exposure, specially considering that reviews have a passive nature to them.
Please consider a Donation.
Although the blog is small, we do appreciate your help through a donation, or, you can get yourself free books, and then buy one of the priced books available as well. It will help us maintain the blog, bring better services to you, and bring even more quality reviewers! Thank you so much for helping us!
