I know, I know, it’s kind of late to post this, but…. I have no excuses so here we GO!
In our first year, more like 8 months actually, we reviewed many awesome writers and their books, such as J-Man, C. Billie Brunson, Steven McKinnon and Matthew Johnson.
Although all of the above are great authors, there is only one spot for the Scribble’s Worth Book Of The Year Award

and it goes to…. (tan tam tammmmmmmm, *non-synchronized drums*)
“ The Synphony of the Wind” By Steven McKinnon, with a score of 9.5/10 !
*The crowd goes bananas*
Ok, now, we have already reviewed the book, and we will not repeat what we said about it, just tell you why we gave such a high score of 9.5/10.
Personally, I am a very harsh critic of books, and when it comes to thrillers, the one to beat is always (The GOD) Dean Koontz that has (to me) an average of 9.99/10 on his books, and, every book is just one cliché away from death when on my hands.
So, why 9.5?
1st Reason: Korvan!!!!!
Korvan is, THE BEST VILLAIN EVER WRITTEN! (That I have read so far).
He is funny, sarcastic, ruthless, unstoppable, unpredictable, smart, and most of all, he just wants to have fun.
That’s it. He doesn’t hate anyone, he isn’t looking for vengeance, he isn’t even mad (bro). He is just a maniac, curious joker-like zombie soldier with the smarts. You have got to love him.
Villain of the year. No doubt.
2nd Reason: Tiera Martelo!
After Dean Koontz’s Carson O’Connor, Tiera Martelo is the most BADASS female character I’ve read. She has more balls than the manliest man in the novel.
3rd Reason: The action scenes are eeepppiiiiicccccc
This isn’t a thriller, this is a mad action movie with pages and letters.
4th Reason: Plot twists
If you try to count how many plot twists happen in this book, you will run out of fingers.
5th Reason : Complexity and readability
This book is as complex as it is long, but thanks the amazing work Steven (and the editor, and the beta-readers) did, the book is as smooth as a baby’s ass.
If you haven’t read the first review, click here, and if you have, (or haven’t) and you want to get your hands on this EPIC story, download it here.
Be sure to download the AMAZING, blood pumping prequel, “The Fury Yet To Come” (Review here) so you can understand it better.
