Health is one of the most talked about subjects at any point in time on a society, and ironically the most ignored subject when it comes to personal decisions.
Let us be honest, we ALL could eat better, and we can all eat better food, we can all improve our diets and we can all live longer, healthier lives. But why don’t we all do it? THAT’S the question. I mean, we all want to live past the 100 years, and we all know that this is possible, there are many live examples of this, thousands, so it’s not far-fetched. We all want to live without worrying about hospital bills, cancers, and all those nasty and expensive diseases, and we all know how easy it is to change a little ingredient here and there, so WHY don’t we do it? After reading this amazing book, I figured the answer to that: we don’t have the right motivation to do it. Crazy? Let me explain:

You see, fast-food is easy to acquire, it’s cheap on our pockets, but in the end it costs us our lives. Yet, just the deliciousness of those fatty, tasty meals, is enough to motivate us to continue eating. So here’s the question I have for you: What if every label of fast-food, every single package of fast-food came with the amount of hours, or days, that is taking away from your life? Would you eat it still? Exactly! What does this has to do with this AMAZING book by Tricia Silverman? It’s exactly the opposite! You see, the genius behind this book is that Tricia Silverman was able to CLEARLY show the dividends of eating healthy food by concretely relating it on how much longer, and better we can live! THAT’S WHY we love this book! And THAT’s why we are sure that this book will make you realize how important your daily diet is, and here’s the trick, Tricia Silverman doesn’t go all wandery and vague on what you should or shouldn’t eat, she ACTUALLY tells the difference that each element on your diet affects you and your body, and yes, you will stop eating lots of salt and realize how important it is to put waaaay more vegetables on your diets, and yes, you will start looking twice at those burgers and cereals.
I loved the almost scientific approach that Tricia Silverman went for on the book by putting data on the things she was talking about, it’s very cool and informative. That and the fact that she is always linking the needed changes with positive and wanted activities that you will be able to do for many years after retirement and on your advanced adult life is very cool. Who wouldn’t want to have the reflexes to drive cars like a youngster on his 90th anniversary? As a car-head myself, I can tell you that Tricia Silverman won me over when she touched the subject, hahahahahahaha. I was hooked and eager to know everything from that point on, like: “Woman, do tell me your secrets!” Hahhahahhahah
Yes, there are indeed scientific papers and research backing the claims made in this book, and no, it’s nothing complicated and you won’t even notice really. One thing that I appreciated a lot, is that the author took examples and research made on Hunzans, a people famous for how long they live and for how healthy their lifestyle is, and that’s inspiring to say the least.
There are resources, for reference, which help with the experience of reading the book and having the support system to understand it, very cool indeed.
“Caster is a living example of how good health can impact your life. He lives the Mediterranean lifestyle, still cooks for his daughter, drives, and goes to yoga.”
– Tricia Silverman
Wouldn’t you like to have a life with less pain on your bones, less stress, without the need of medications that complicate your life with side-effects? Tricia Silverman does an AMAZING job, once again in selling you the benefits of a better diet through the book.

It’s amazing, you will be, just like me, hooked from page one and zoom through other pages eager to find more, as she keeps selling you the advantages, with real-life examples, once again, on people that have done it. This is crucial, and I understand why she did that. Losing weight isn’t as easy as gaining weight, believe me, so the more it gets ingrained in us the benefits of losing weight, the more we see it for ourselves, the more we will believe it is possible for us, and Tricia Silverman does exactly that.
We appreciate how Tricia also took time to call upon the BS that many companies make and warn us about the many hidden dangers of processed foods and how they work, how they are made and the consequences of all of it and stands firmly planted against it, advocating more natural food, always. It’s inspiring and deserves mad respect for that.
Ask yourself: how many books tell about the shelf-life of veggies? About what not to put in your cart and exactly why? The names, consequences and where are you likely to find the preservatives and chemical that industries and corporations put in the food? Not many, and this is one of the only, if not, THE ONLY book I’ve read that talks about all of this in simple detail. I loved it and I’ve learned a LOOOOT with this, and I’m saying this as scientist and a botanist that works with natural foods, so I’m sure you will love this book and get enriched by this book even more.

I know that when we talk about investments, we usually think that we are talking about money, and most times we are, but I’ve read from a millionaire’s book, a highly successful man, that the biggest wealth you can have is health, vibrancy and family. And that struck a chord. From that point on, I started to care more about my health, and I can assure you that reading this book has been a blessing on my search for a better and healthier life, not only because of the practicality and solid knowledge that Tricia Silverman offers, the details, the data, the plans and strategies with examples, real life examples, but also because of the relative brevity and focus on the subject and goal of making you realize how important your health is, not only for yourself, but also by hinting on the idea of how much productive you will be with a healthier diet.
This investment that you will make for yourself will give you major dividends and make your life much, much better and it starts with grabbing your copy.
